Production plant
The history of Reixach has its roots in a family with a deep tradition in the meat sector. In 2006, two brothers, Francesc and Xavi, gave life to a new business project full of ambition and passion.
This project focused on the slaughter, butchering and marketing of pork, marking the beginning of our commitment to quality and excellence in the meat industry.
To carry out this work, we acquired a slaughtering and butchering plant in Hostalric, which in its initial stage had an operating capacity of 200 pigs per day. Our initial team was made up of 20 people, who shared our vision and enthusiasm for offering high quality products.
2021
New challenges, new horizons
With sustained growth of 20% in recent years and an annual export rate that has reached 55% of our production, Reixach is embarking on an exciting chapter in its history.
Our newly opened plant covers 10,000 m2 and has a processing capacity of 250 tonnes per day. This facility is primarily dedicated to the export of our production and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the packaging, freezing and delivery of products in the shortest possible time.
